Hi Everyone!
Well it looks like summer has has arrived! Hope your all staying nice and cool. Why not come over to the Centennial Hills Active Adult Center (inside the YMCA Building) on August 4th for our Support Group Meeting and stay cool and enjoy some light refreshment.

Our meetings are open to everyone. If you are a caregiver, you are a loved one of someone who has Alzheimer's, a friend or a relative who just wants to know about this disease and what to do....please join us! A member once said in his own words..."It's almost unbearable when my own mother doesn't recognize me. On those days, I call my group to help me understand and cope." You don't have to be alone, thats why we have a support group!

Sorry about cancelling our November meeting, but we had a family emergency. I am looking forward to our Dec. meeting and hope you can attend. Our venue is the same as it was for November.

I can't believe the Holidays are almost here!
Providing care for someone with dementia can be overwhelming, and it can be easy to neglect your own well-being. My topic this month is "Take Good Care of Yourself and Experience the Moment."

Our meetings are open to everyone. If you are a caregiver, you are a loved one of someone who has Alzheimer's, a friend or a relative who just wants to know about this disease and what to do....please join us!
